7050 Grade Aluminum
The 7050 grade aluminum is heat treatable so as to produce mechanical properties of high strength and toughness, and it has very good resistance to stress corrosion cracking.
This aluminum metal has good forming properties but because of its strength, it is not recommended for welding applications. By combining zinc with magnesium, this aluminum is rated at very high strength.
