3003 Grade Aluminum
The 3003 Grade Aluminum is stronger than 1100, yet still very workable. It is easily welded and brazed, but soldering is limited to the torch method. It will perform satisfactorily in the higher tempers with the proper set-up and maximum speeds.
This aluminum metal receives a good rating for machinability, welding and forming applications, but is not heat treatable.
